Aishwarya talks about her Army household and upbringing
Coming from an Army background, did Aishwarya plan on serving the nation, she shared, "I don’t really remember if I ever wanted to become an Army officer, but as a child, I always wanted to remain in the environment of the Indian Armed Forces. I recall telling my mother that just like she married an Army officer, I wanted to do the same, because there’s so much pride in it. "
Fans have witnessed Aishwarya's daredevil side with Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actress was asked whether it was the influence of her Army household, Aishwarya shared, "I think being part of an Army household for as long as I was, a certain level of discipline just becomes part of you from birth. And with that discipline, it’s mostly mind over matter. That’s what helped me in Khatron. Of course, I would be scared, my heart would be racing, but I knew that if I put my mind to it, I could do it. I had seen my father do it, and my mother too, when she was alive. It takes immense discipline to conquer your fears, and that influence definitely shaped me.
Her message for the fans and what inspires her
On celebrating the 79th Independence Day, Aishwarya shared her thoughts and message for the fans, "My message would be that it’s important to understand the sacrifices that went into gaining our independence, and we should never take it for granted. Today, it’s hard to speak candidly without the risk of offending someone, but I truly feel that as citizens, we have forgotten basic civic sense. We tend to think the country is here to serve us, but we forget that we are equally responsible for serving the country. By simply being more mindful citizens, we could take our nation to greater heights. We must remember our duties on how we behave with fellow Indians, and the kind of information we share, because the wrong approach can now be borderline dangerous."
Coming from an Army household, Aishwarya details what inspires her the most. She revealed she has had her biases towards the national services, "I have a bit of bias for the Army, because I’ve seen how much my father sacrificed. For years, he was away from us, posted in field areas where families weren’t allowed. Sometimes, we’d see him only for a few weeks in an entire year. To give up your personal life to that extent takes tremendous courage and determination. I especially admire the infantry, and my heart will always hold a special respect for them."
