Bhaukaal and Yeh Hai Chahatein actor Upen Chauhan features as a gangster in Ekta Kapoor’s web series, Main Hero Boll Raha Hu, starring Parth Samthan. “My character is not scared of anyone,” says Chauhan about the show, which is set in the underworld of the ’90s.

Talking about the boom of the OTT platform, Kapoor while speaking to mid-day last year stated, "India's tier 2 and 3 towns have seen an upswing of Internet users that has been beneficial to all OTT platforms. We saw a lot of women from smaller towns subscribing to our platform; it also led to more time spent by our viewers.
