Bigg Boss Season 19 concludes this week, and the viewers will undoubtedly miss the drama, chaos, and excitement that this season provided. Ashnoor Kaur and Shehbaz Badesha were eliminated last week, leaving the show's top six contenders. These finalists recently endured a grilling from the media, and the most recent episode even included a full-fledged 'roast night' in the house. But can things stay hunky-dory in a house like Bigg Boss, especially so close to the end? Absolutely not. The top six contestants have apparently been cut to five, with Malti Chahar, a wildcard participant, being eliminated. Malti Chahar gets evicted Bigg Boss introduced the last task of the house, which would reveal the finalists of the show. The top six contestants had to put their names in the wishing well to see whether they were the finalists. As each contestant went for their turn, Gaurav, Pranit, Tanya and Amaal got safe while in Malti's turn the smoke turned red and she got evicted from the house. Malti and Pranit who were known to be the closest friends on the show had a fall out just few hours before the eviction task due to which their bond had a sour ending with Malti getting evicted from the show. As Malti was leaving the house, she hugged everyone except Pranit. Amaal even apologized to her for everything that happened between them. Tanya and Gaurav asked Malti to at least meet Pranit once but she refused and left the house. After she left, Pranit got emotional and later broke down in tears. However, Gaurav consoled him and asked him that it is a matter of just 2-3 days now, he can resolve it outside. Malti Chahar's journey in Bigg Boss 19 Malti Chahar is an actor, screenwriter, and director. Malti may have entered the Bigg Boss house as a wildcard, but she surely made an impression with her game. Her eviction is set to air in an upcoming show. With her departure, the season's top five contenders are Amaal Mallik, Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, and Tanya Mittal. Malti's eviction elicited conflicting reactions among X users. While some viewers expected it, others thought the judgment was unfair. A person commented, "Wasn't shocking at all; promos say nikaal diya, proving they are scripted." Another person commented, "Good, she doesn't deserve to be a finalist." A user wrote: "Malti Chahar was better than some snooze players but makers will evict her was so predictable." Another added, “Malti is the strongest contestant of BB19.
04 December,2025 10:14 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentThe makers of the renowned reality show Bigg Boss 19 have released a new promo featuring Malti Chahar, Pranit More, and Gaurav Khanna, three of the top six candidates from this season. While Pranit and Malti have maintained a pleasant camaraderie for most of the show, the current preview shows things taking a turn for the worse, with the two getting into a heated argument while cooking in the Bigg Boss house kitchen. Pranit and Malti's fight in the kitchen In the teaser, Pranit and Malti are seen cooking parathas in the kitchen, and Gaurav Khanna jokes to Pranit that it seems like he's painting, which appears to be an obvious insult. Malti, visibly upset, informs Pranit, "Main hoti to abhi tak bolti aake khud kar lo (I would have told him to come and do it himself by now)." The situation quickly escalates as Malti says, "GK strategy kar paa raha hai teri (Pranit) wajah se. GK yahaan pe aake hi samajh gaya tha logon ke paas dimaag nahin hai; ye usage ho sakte hai." While what actually happens is unclear from the video, it appears that the two get into a physical argument, during which Malti warns Pranit that he should know his limitations. Pranit, for his part, questions Malti's punching him and does not expect reprisal. "Ye pagal aadmi hai, kya? "Main isko maaf nahin karungi," Malti is seen saying afterwards. While the promo barely hinted at what happened, eagle-eyed fans who watch Bigg Boss 19's live feed have pointed out that the situation worsened after Pranit kicked Malti during their discussion with GK. Malti and Pranit's bond With only a few days till the finale, it remains to be seen whether Pranit More and Malti Chahar can fix their relationship and become friends again, or if this was just a petty squabble and the two are already back on good terms. However, Gaurav Khanna has constantly warned Pranit to keep his distance from Malti. While the roommates continue to refer to the two as more than just friends, Malti recently clarified that there were no romantic sentiments involved, saying, "Aisi koi liking nahi hai." "Bus dost hai accha," she says, adding that while she respects Pranit's sensitivity, she still believes he hasn't genuinely supported her. Later, during a break, she told Amaal Mallik that she would never date Pranit since he isn't her type and doesn't genuinely understand her.
04 December,2025 07:43 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentBigg Boss 19, which debuted on August 24, is quickly approaching its big finale. After three and a half months of intense competition, the winner will be announced on December 7. With only four days remaining, the top six candidates are giving it their best as the journey nears its end. In the most recent episode, Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhatt, and Malti Chahar were seen discussing Gaurav Khanna on the show. Amaal accuses Gaurav of being jealous While Gaurav was working out, he observed Amaal Mallik lounging on the couch and suggested he start exercising. He mentioned how often he saw him lounging around. When Amaal tried to create an explanation, Gaurav reminded him of the offer he received from Ektaa Kapoor and advised him to be in shape for it. Amaal, who was sitting with Farrhana and Malti, responded to Gaurav's statement by stating that the Anupamaa actor is upset because he has received an offer from Ektaa Kapoor. He responds: "Ye mere kaam ke offer ko leke chidhe hue nahi hai, harr do teen baaton mein salah dete hain." Malti quickly adds that instead of making Ashnoor Kaur jealous of Tanya Mittal for receiving an offer from Ektaa Kapoor, Salman Khan should have handled the issue with Gaurav. Amaal responds, "Main kyun maroon?". Farrhana advises him to bring up the subject the next time, and to question Gaurav about why he always discusses it. Amaal swiftly adds, "Because it was his dream to work with Ektaa Kapoor, and I had the option of saying yes or no." That is also something he dislikes. Par ye offer bhi aaya, woh chidh hai unko. Amaal talks about the jealousy He adds, "Par woh thodi si zyaada baat thi ke jab offer hua tab ye saamne se khud bole ma'am mujhe kab milega ye mauka, tabhi aisa nahi dikhana chahiye tha." Then she said, "Arre GK, tum toh superstar ho." For the unversed, during the promotions of the astro app, Ektaa Kapoor had offered a role to Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik in her upcoming project for the channel. Tanya was extremely elated listening to the offer, she called it 'a dream come true moment'.

04 December,2025 01:56 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentColors’ latest offering, Seher Hone Ko Hai, starring Mahhi Vij as Kausar and debutant Rishita Kothari as Seher, brings a stirring new spin to a mother–daughter battle for freedom. Mahhi, who is making her comeback to fictional shows after almost a decade, spoke about her equation with Rishita behind the lens too. “I have become her mother off-screen too. I am always fussing over her, asking if she has eaten, if she needs anything, if she’s tired,” said Mahhi. “I keep telling her she should tell her mom to disown her because I am ready to adopt her! That’s the kind of bond we have developed,” said Mahhi. The actress added, “She’s such a sweet, calm energy on set, and because this is her debut, I automatically feel protective of her, the way you do for your own child who’s stepping into a big new world. We have a lot of fun together, but we also learn from each other.” Mahhi further said, “She teaches me her little Gen-Z things, and I guide her where I can. It’s a very natural, pure bond, nothing forced and it genuinely feels like family.” Mahhi Vij also added how she absolutely needed no preparation to step into the shoes of a mother on-screen. “For me, the mother-daughter bond in this show didn’t need heavy preparation; it needed honesty,” said Mahhii. She added, “I am a mother in real life, so I instantly connected with Kausar’s instinct to protect her child from everything she herself has suffered. I didn’t have to imagine that fear or that desperation; it’s something every mom carries inside her. “What I focused on instead was understanding the quieter, internal parts of Kausar, the exhaustion of fighting the same battles again, the guilt of not being able to give her daughter more, and the tiny moments of strength she gathers just to push through one more day. I didn’t prepare to ‘act’ like a mother; I just felt it,” the actress elaborated. Talking about Seher, the show lies in the heart of Lucknow. It revolves around the life of Kausar, a mother who fights to give her sixteen-year-old daughter, Seher, the education and choices she herself was denied, fighting all odds of a patriarchal society, including her husband. The show also stars actor Parth Samthaan. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 03 December,2025 06:29 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentJust a week before the Bigg Boss 19 finale, Shehbaz Badesha has been evicted from the show. In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, he looked back at his journey, his bond with Amaal Mallik, and his unfiltered opinions on Tanya Mittal, Malti Chahar, and the remaining contestants. Shehbaz described his overall journey as memorable and enjoyable. “I enjoyed a lot, and I enjoyed a lot. It was a glorious time there,” he said, reflecting on his weeks inside the house. One of the highlights for viewers was his bond with Amaal Mallik. Speaking about their friendship, he shared, “All our memories were good. Our theft was good. That was our best memory. You must have seen the rest.” He acknowledged that Amaal was deeply emotional after his eviction. Salman Khan had repeatedly advised Shehbaz to be mindful of his behaviour, especially with jokes crossing the line. Shehbaz agreed that the advice made a difference. “I felt that whatever Salman sir said was right. And I felt that after what he said, my game got better. I used to say what I had to say without thinking. Whatever he said was right for me. And when I came out, I realised that I played well after that.” Calls Tanya “fake” With the finale approaching, Shehbaz didn't hold back on his views about Tanya Mittal. “Tanya is a fake contestant,” he declared. When asked why, he said, “When I was there, I knew that she overshadows herself. She exaggerates herself.” Addressing her claims and her brother’s visit, he added humorously, “He called you to prove that he has what I am saying. I could have said that Elon Musk is my aunt's son. Now that I am out, he didn't call me. He didn't send me a ticket. I am waiting for the ticket. Outside talks are outside. But inside, that was a game. I feel that whoever has it, never tells.” On Malti Chahar’s entry Shehbaz believes Malti Chahar’s entry negatively impacted the game. “When Malti came home, the game was very high. So, she went down. One bull went down and the other came up.”He also responded to her claim that she boosted the show's TRPs. “Salman Bhai told her about the weekend how much the game went up and how much it didn't. He told her. I don't need to say this. I feel that after she came, people must have been irritated. What is she saying? I feel that the game has gone down a lot.” Amidst various struggle stories from contestants, Shehbaz felt that only one person came across as real to him. “I used to find Amaal genuine. I neither listened to his stories nor did I use to listen to them. I used to leave from there.” His winner for Bigg Boss 19 Shehbaz is clear about who deserves the trophy. “There will be only one deserving winner. That is Amaal. The rest will be in God's hands. I feel that Amaal is the best.” When asked about Gaurav’s contribution, Shehbaz was blunt. “There is no contribution of Gaurav. He did not say anything. He played the game on the backdoor and came in the end in a week or two. He did not come openly. Actually, he played well. I feel that he played in Sumdi quietly. But his game was not that big as compared to other players.” Shehbaz says Bigg Boss was the only reality show he ever wanted to do. “I will not do a reality show. I had only one manifest. I have done that. I am the biggest in India. I do not want to go to the lower level. I will go up now.” With his candid opinions and trademark humour, Shehbaz Badesha leaves Bigg Boss 19 with the same confidence and boldness he showcased inside the house.

The musician broke both of his legs, injured his right arm, and had a head injury that necessitated many surgeries. Pawandeep recalls his harrowing accident Pawandeep recalled the harrowing accident. He said, “Initially, no one was helping us, then the police came. The car had caught fire, and I was inside it at the time. One of them pulled me out. I don’t know how long I was inside, but when I woke up, I was out of the car. Then I was taken to the hospital. Both my legs and a hand were broken. I called up home and asked my family to come. I just thought about getting it treated as soon as possible. It has all gotten better now,” he added. Pawandeep talks about his recovery Pawandeep went on to share the update on his recovery, “For the first month, I couldn’t even move from side to side, but now I’m able to walk a little, which makes me happy. The experience made me realise the true value of being able to walk. When such incidents occur, you must accept them, move forward, and remain positive. I’ve begun walking gradually, and I hope my mobility improves further in the coming month. After the accident, I was bedridden, and even when I flew to Mumbai with my injured leg, I had to stay immobile for another month. Slowly, I’ve started walking and even playing the guitar again. My hand has regained some strength, but it still needs more healing.” The accident occurred on May 5 this year when Pawandeep was en route to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for a live show. Around 3 AM near Moradabad, his car collided with a stalled truck. He was initially brought to a neighbouring government hospital before being transferred to a more advanced institution in Delhi NCR for many surgeries.

03 December,2025 01:55 PM IST | Mumbai | IANSBigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, is nearing its grand finale. The participants kicked off the finale week with a dramatic press conference. During the press conference, music composer Amaal Mallik was asked several difficult questions. When confronted about calling his father, Daboo Mallik, a failure on national television, he also denied being fascinated with fellow contestant Tanya Mittal. mid-day asked Amaal Mallik about his father, and here's how he reacted. Amaal Mallik reacts to calling his father a 'failure' The question was whether it was justified to call his father a failure on national TV just to prove a point about struggles to Gaurav Khanna. Amaal reacted, "There is no harm in being a failure; I was 15 years old, and he had said it to me. He has also mentioned it in many interviews that 'I failed, but my sons gave me back the position in life.' I think I have the guts to forget about being image-conscious; I laid down my whole truth. I wanted to tell the truth. I think he failed in his journey, but he took failure beautifully. He came to support me when I had made a few mistakes. I feel that had my father not failed, I wouldn’t have had the hunger and passion to succeed. Due to our family name, people have a perception that we get things ready on a platter. I wanted to prove that it wasn’t the case. My father has said this multiple times earlier as well, so I don't think I did anything wrong in stating the reality." Amaal too reporters Voh failure nahi hote toh mere mein voh junoon nhi hota successful hone ka Amaal is answering them so gracefully đđ»đ„č !!Amaal always gives good answers to the people in front of him đ€ !!#AmaalMallik #BiggBoss19 pic.twitter.com/U3zkGM2Nsu — áSáŽHÉȘLàżđ€ (@MehraMahir) December 1, 2025 Amaal calls himself 'Kabir Singh' of Music Amaal was further asked by a reporter about his personality on the show and threatening co-contestants, "I would have threatened someone outside also if they poked me; it didn’t matter how big or small that person was, I would give it back. I even told my family to cut off ties with me because I am the way I am. I told them that if they felt my words or actions were damaging to my parents or my brother Armaan, I would make that decision too. Outside, I am called the Kabir Singh of music. If you Google my name, before Amaal Mallik’s music, Amaal Mallik’s controversy will appear. I have taken a stand against everything. This is how I am, I follow my heart, if people like me or not, it’s their perspective, eventually, the audience is the king." Amaal went on to share his take on his complicated friendship with Tanya Mittal, "I am already famous as a name, and we all try to stay away from each other. On humanitarian grounds, I spoke to her. Farrhana had told me that I looked obsessed with Tanya, but I am not the kind of person who immediately cuts off from people, whether it’s a friend or an enemy. I keep poking until the world gets to see the truth. I have stopped doing that now. And I am not obsessed with Tanya."
