Bigg Boss 18- Last season the show had a futuristic theme where contestants were able to see their past present and future. The season full of high suspense was titled Time Ka Taandav.
Bigg boss 17- When the promo of Bigg Boss 17 was unveiled, Salman Khan stunned audience as he released promos in three different avatars. The season had the theme of Dil (contestants get to experience warmth and love to the fullest), Dimaag (strategists and those who prefer to use their brains over hearts) aur Dum (those who are full of confidence can go in the room) with house designed in European theme.
Bigg Boss 16- This season had circus theme design house with Bigg Boss being the ringmaster. The season tagline was ‘Game badlega kyunki Bigg Boss khud khelega’. Since that season, Bigg Biss has been a part of game with contestants, taking the drama quotient a notch higher.
Bigg Boss 15- The theme of this season was quite unique and titled ‘Sankat in Jungle’. In this, before moving to the main luxury house, the housemates crossed the stage of staying in jungle first. They were given challenges by tree 'Vishwasuntree’.
Bigg Boss 14 – This season featuring all-celebrity contestants, followed an ‘Ab Paltega Scene’ concept, in which Bigg Boss would turn the tables every time the housemates thought they were safe. The season’s theme and designing was a befitting reply to coronavirus pandemic which led to lockdown. The house comprised of luxe amenities like gym, restaurants and spa.
Bigg Boss 13- It was one of the most memorable seasons of Bigg Boss with major changes. The set was shifted from its original location in Lonavala to Film city in Mumbai. This year didn’t had specific theme the house was called ‘Bigg Boss Museum’ which was jazzy, with an eclectic mix of colours and designs.
Bigg Boss 12- This year’s theme was all about ’Vichitra jodis’, which means, the contestants were asked to participate with their partners which may include spouses, parents, siblings, co-workers or friends. Talking about the house, it was conceptualized in a dreamy beach destination.
Bigg Boss 11- This season, Salman Khan hosted show saw the theme of padosi wherein contestants will be divided into two houses and asked to keep an eye on each other, just like typical neighbours.
Bigg Boss 10- This season had a modern India vibe as Bigg Boss told its countrymen, ‘India Isse Apna Hi Ghar Samjho’. A key feature was the inclusion of common people alongside celebrities, marking a shift from the show's usual celebrity-only format.
Bigg Boss 9- Titled ‘Double Trouble’, the idea of this season was to get contestants paired like siamese twins making it difficult for them to use their strategies. Two contestants were tied to each other and had to spend all their time together in the ninth season. For the unversed, Prince Narula won this season.
Bigg Boss 8- In the initial episodes, the contestants had to stay put in an immobile aircraft placed in the house. With miniscule cubed washroom and no leg space, while sleeping, the contestants were left troubled. This season had the concept of secret society in which 3 contestants were chosen by Bigg Boss to live in the society in secret, away from the rest of the housemates.
Bigg Boss 7- The season had the theme "Jannat Ka Wow Aur Jahannam Ka Aaw Dekhege Saath Saath”. This theme was reflected in the house being divided into two parts: one luxurious, representing heaven, and the other harsh, representing hell.
