Paying Guest – Television debut as Neena (1985)
Before becoming one of Hindi cinema’s biggest stars, Madhuri Dixit made her television debut with Paying Guest, a Rajshri Productions series. She played the character Neena and appeared in an episode. The show marked one of her earliest screen appearances and came before her eventual rise to superstardom in Bollywood.

Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai – Turned matchmaker on television (2002)
In 2002, Madhuri took on a very different role when she hosted Sony Entertainment Television’s matrimonial reality show Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai. Instead of judging dance performances, she helped people looking for love and marriage. The show allowed audiences to see her in a more conversational and hosting-oriented avatar.

Madhuri’s association with Jhalak began in 2010 with its fourth season. She shared the judging panel with choreographer Remo D'Souza and Malaika Arora Khan. Her arrival gave the show a judge with an enormous personal legacy in Indian dance and Bollywood choreography.
