Priyanka comes from an army background. She has done her schooling from Kendriya Vidhyalaya in Jaipur and graduated from Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
Priyanka began her journey by hosting events and shows in her early days while she was looking for that one opportunity to get into showbiz.
In an earlier interview, she revealed, "I played a small role in a German movie titled The Girl With The Indian Emerald, which was shot in and around Jaipur. It gave me the confidence to face the camera. After that, there has been no looking back."
The actress made her debut on television with the show Gathbandhan starring Abrar Qazi and Shruti Sharma in lead roles.
The turning point for her was when she bagged the lead role in Udaariyaan and her role as Tejo was loved by everyone. It was her first lead role and her chemistry in the show with Ankit Gupta was loved by viewers.
However, before Udaariyaan, the actress was not happy with the way her career was panning out and had decided to quit acting once. She had mentioned, “There was a time when I got tired because things weren’t working out as much as I had hoped, so I shifted back to Jaipur.”
After her role in Udaariyaan ended, Priyanka was offered Bigg Boss 16. Her fierce and bindass attitude has made her 3rd runner-up of the show.
During her stint in Udaariyaan, she was rumoured to be dating co-star Ankit Gupta. Even after their stint in Bigg Boss, their chemistry was lauded. However, they parted ways in 2024.
It was during her stint in Bigg Boss 16, Ektaa Kapoor hinted that she has found her new Naagin. Recalling the moment, Priyanka said, “I still remember the moment on Bigg Boss 16when Ekta ma’am said she found her next Naagin, and to have her keep that promise and choose me for this legacy is truly an honour.”
While Naagin took around four years to finally see the light of the day, Priyanka in a podcast with Bharti and Harsh reveals she developed social anxiety after the show.
She said, “After that I went inside Bigg Boss and when I came out I developed social anxiety. I was a party animal before, I used to party like mad but after Bigg Boss I couldn’t understand what was happening to me.”
After Bigg Boss, Priyanka was seen in some music videos. She later made her way into OTT space with Dus June Ki Raat. The series starred Tusshar Kapoor alongside her.
