Actor Fabien Frankel has officially said goodbye to his House of the Dragon character, Ser Criston Cole, following the character's death in Season 3.

Frankel shared an emotional farewell message on Instagram, reflecting on his journey portraying the controversial knight for nearly three seasons.

In his behind the scenes post from House of The Dragons, the actor thanked every department involved, calling the opportunity a "once in a million" experience.

His final wrap speech expressed heartfelt gratitude to the cast and crew, saying he would be "eternally grateful" for being part of the series.

Frankel admitted he became emotional while filming his last scenes, describing House of the Dragon as the biggest chapter of his acting career.

Showrunner Ryan Condal praised Frankel's performance and thanked him, saying the team would deeply miss him.

Co-star Freddie Fox, who played Ser Gwayne Hightower, said he admired Frankel as both an actor and a close friend.

Frankel said Criston Cole's abrupt death felt fitting, staying true to George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood and avoiding a heroic send-off.

While Criston Cole's journey has come to an end, Frankel's emotional farewell and acclaimed performance have left a lasting impression on House of the Dragon fans.

Matt Smith also paid tribute, expressing excitement for Frankel's future and predicting he would go on to star in major films.
