Speaking about how she decided to turn singer, Taparia told mid-day.com, "Since childhood I dreamed of releasing a song but I would think that there are so many fantastic singers and would I be able to sing in front of them? I used to sing in the chorus and in Antakshri, then God gave me creativity so I thought why not sing a song. The whole world started loving my voice after 'Indian Matchmaking.'
