Known for its lush greenery, Aarey Milk Colony also carries a haunting reputation. Many have reported sightings of a phantom presence—often described as the ghost of a child or a woman dressed in a white saree, said to appear at night asking for a lift.
D'Souza Chawl, Mahim
Frequently cited as one of Mumbai’s most haunted spots, D’Souza Chawl has numerous reports from residents who claim to have seen a ghostly figure wandering the streets after dark. Legend has it that a woman accidentally fell into a well—still present in the area—leaving behind a restless spirit.

A serene escape known for its natural beauty amid the city’s chaos, Sanjay Gandhi National Park also carries eerie tales. Locals have claimed to witness unexplained occurrences and ghostly sightings deep within its forest trails, giving this haven of greenery a mysterious edge after sunset.
