Dua Lipa married her partner and British actor Callum Turner on May 31 in a private ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London.This is a year after she announced her engagement to Turner in July 2025, more than a year after she announced her relationship with him in 2024.

Lipa, who has been active since 2013 has amassed many thousands of fans over the years including fans in India, and during that time has got a sweet nickname that she has adopted from them. Lipa's fans fondly call her 'Dula Peep', a name that became popular after her name was mispronounced by American talk show host Wendy Williams in 2018 

Being English at heart, Lipa also considers herself as an "honorary Liverpool supporter" after fans started singing her song "One Kiss" during the club's matches, and is now a club anthem. It was after her performance at the 2018 UEFA Champions League final. Spanish football giants Real Madrid won against Liverpool 3-1

Known to be an English citizen, Lipa not only has British citizenship but also became a citizen of Albania in 2022 for promoting the country through her music and fame.In the same year, she was awarded the Honorary Ambassador of Kosovo 

Popularly, Dua Lipa first visited Mumbai in India in 2019 for the OnePlus Music Festival, and performed at the concert along with the likes of Katy Perry, and some of India's biggest musicians. She had also come to India in 2023 when she shared photos of her trip to Rajasthan with family including her twin sister. However, she returned in November for her highly-anticipated Zomato Feeding India Concert, and didn't fail to enjoy some sightseeing in the city with good food and drink. She not only dined at Papa's in Bandra, and took a trip with Mumbai-based Gypsea Sailing to the famed Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
