Indian singer Sukhbir Singh, who is known as the "Prince of Bhangra," performed at the closing ceremony of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday evening after India's garba queen Falguni Pathak and continued to celebrate India's diverse musical culture
Earlier Sukhbir had shared with ANI that he feels very "excited" because this will be his first time performing in front of a cricket crowd
Sukhbir shared the stage with popular Indian singer Falguni Pathak and global pop star Ricky Martin, who performed before and after him during the closing ceremony
The singer, who performed with around 50 Bollywood dancers and colourful choreography, and traditional Punjabi dhol performers sang some of his biggest hits including 'Oh Ho Ho Ho'
Among the highlights was Ricky Martin dancing along with fans to 'Oh Ho Ho Ho' showcasing how much he loved the Punjabi beats and global appeal of Punjabi music around the world today
