Mumbai came alive this Janmashtami 2025 with grand Dahi Handi celebrations across the city. From human pyramids recreating Lord Krishna’s playful butter-stealing act to loud music, festive energy, and massive crowds braving heavy rains — the spirit of Krishna was everywhere. In Ghatkopar, the unique Operation Sindoor theme honored India’s military strength and readiness. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also joined the celebrations at various Dahi Handi events across Mumbai. Despite the downpour, thousands turned up, showcasing teamwork, devotion, and courage to keep the tradition alive.
