In order to lure young buyers by following a sporty theme, Datsun – the affordable arm of Japanese auto giant Nissan – will be launching a limited edition sports avatar of their entry-level hatchback redi-GO. Slated to take place on September 29, this seems to be an apt time for the brand as the festive season is just around the corner. Right from its launch in June this year, redi-GO has faced stiff competition from well-established players, including its distant cousin the Kwid. Now, with this new avatar, Datsun hopes to climb the sales charts.
