You wake up late, you laze around with the day's paper, watch TV, surf the Net  ufffdin short, do whatever you want to. And as the clock ticks, comes the shocker. What to have for lunch (for unfortunate souls like me who are too lazy to cook and at the same time live away from home, trust me that one really is a shocker). For people like us, brunches in the Capital come as a refreshing breather.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="/imagedata/2011/dec/bunch.jpg" border="5" align="" alt="" /><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><div>Like the one I discovered last Sunday, a stone's throw away from my house. Eros Hotel, at Nehru Place, has organized a lavish Sunday brunch at its coffee shop Blooms. Sit outside with grills and pasta counters (among others) surrounding you, enjoying the live music being played out at the lawns, and for you will fall in love with the winter sun all over again. u00a0The singers choose their songs carefully and rarely do they go out of town. The music isn't loud enough to bother conversations, but is there to work up the mood - like a merry accompaniment.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="/imagedata/2011/dec/sushi.jpg" border="5" align="" alt="" /><br /></div><div><i><span style="color: red; font-size: 8pt; ">The sushi is delectable</span></i></div><div><br /></div><div>The menu is hearty, accompanied by sparkling wine, unlimited perhaps matching the Sunday mood. The chefs haven't left out on anything. Don't miss out on the seafood grills (very fresh and tasty) with squids, prawns, salmon, sea bass, red snapper, bassa, river sole, crabs and more.</div><div><br /></div><div>Walk into the coffee shop if you want to start healthy with salads, soups (minestrone and Chicken lemon coriander), cheese, olives, crackers and cold cuts (with cocktail sauce, lemon vinaigrette). Team them up with their wide selection of breads. I saw lavosh, rye bread, focaccia among others. Another must try is the sushi and sashimi (I ordered a second helping). Choose from salmon, smoked eel, tobego, takwan, cucumber, shrimp, tuna, octopus and more.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>With lavish bread display (soft, hard rolls, grissini, lavosh, rye bread, focaccia, ciabatta, baguette etc). And the dim sums.u00a0For main course, pick up from well-cooked Tenderloin Milanese, Lemon and rosemary chicken, Lamb ragout, Spinach and sundried tomato lasagna or Roasted potatoes.</div><div><br /></div><div>The Indian section hasn't been overlooked either with Murgh kofti pulao, Dal panchratni, Kadhai paneer, Allepey meen curry and more in the form of kebabs.u00a0There is more (phew) in he form of teppanyaki, Asian cuisine and a wide selection of desserts. Trust me you won't be able to sample all of it in one go, so keep dropping in is what I would suggest.
