As part of a tribute to Hindustani and Carnatic vocalists lost in the past decade, the NCPA is organising Visual Voices: A photo exhibition of renowned Indian musicians.
The photographs — spanning over 30 years taken from NCPA archives, as well as those taken by independent photographers — will include images of artistes MS Subbulakshmi, Bhimsen Joshi, Bismillah Khan and Vilayat Khan. For those keen to catch glimpses of some of the most famous names that continue to dominate the Indian Classical music scene, as well as to inspire upcoming artistes, do stop by.u00a0
