Stay indoors While it is ideal to stay indoors during peak firecracker hours (usually evenings), Dr Jarvis Pereira, Consultant ENT, Holy Family Hospital, says creating a quiet space at home, away from the commotion, can also provide much-needed relief. Whenever possible, it is advisable to stay in calmer areas during the festivities
