I hate him for doing what he did... but I love him...

Dear Diana,
I'm 19, was in a relationship but now we've broken up. I met him through a friend and at that time, he was dating her. I got to know my friend wasn't serious about him, so I made him aware about it. Later, he dated another friend and wanted it to be a serious one. During this time, the two of us got on really well. We went out for a movie, hung out in the area practically everyday; but not alone, with our best friends. It was during this time that I fell for him. Since I knew that he was dating a friend I hid my feelings. After a while, things didn't materialise between them and they split. Sometime later, he asked me out. With a lot of hesitation, I said yes. We then went on our first date... it was perfect. A week later he sent me a text stating, 'We'll just be close friends from now on, I'm sorry'. I got pissed off and replied, 'Do what you want'. Our best friend then asked him the reason. He told her it was just to find out if I had created a problem between him and his ex. I completely cut off contact with him. On one hand, I don't want to talk to him because I can't trust him; on the other hand, I still want to be with him because I still have feelings for him. Moreover, he's the only guy I ever got so comfortable with.

Juhi

Dear Juhi,
At your age, it is difficult to understand what motivates people to doing certain things that could cause irreconciliable pain and heartache to the people they like, love or are attracted to.u00a0u00a0 Of course, you did the right thing by meeting the guy when in company. Of course, it is gurtful when somebody blames you for a break-up.u00a0 Conflicting feelings will remain to haunt you for quite some time. Agreed, it is difficult to forget or forgive someone you once had feelings for and especially, when you got so comfortable with the person. To tell you the truth, forget about him for a while and make sure it isn't affecting your peace of mind. he sure as hell isn't bothered about yours, having hurt you this way...

Is it okay if I tease women who stare at me?

Dear Diana,
I am a 25-year-old. I am a very good-looking person and I like to tease girls particularly when someone is staring at me without any good or bad intentions as I enjoy the same. Is this correct? Also I respect women because I generally think women are better that men in terms of their conduct.
