New Delhi: A 70-year-old woman was allegedly murdered at her home in Kalkaji of southeast Delhi and cash and jewelry worth around Rs one crore looted, following which two persons, including her former domestic help, were arrested, police said today.

Harmeet Kaur was found murdered at her home last evening. Upon checking the CCTV footage of her house, police found Anil Kumar (22) used to loiter around her house even though he had left the job of domestic help at the victim's house six months back, said DCP (southeast) Mandip Singh Randhawa.
Anil had conducted a recce of the house for three to four days before committing the crime. He was accompanied by Krishna (28), the officer said, adding the duo was arrested from an under-construction building in Civil Lines area of Jaipur.
Diamond and gold jewelry worth over Rs one crore, Rs 1.30 lakh in cash and 10 wrist watches were recovered from them, he said.
