Mumbai Crime: Man who stalked Ekta Kapoor over 30 times, held in Amboli

The accused allegedly wanted to befriend Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor to get a job and even enrolled in the same gym where Kapoor used to go in a bid to meet her

A 32-year-old man was arrested by Amboli police on Monday for allegedly stalking producer Ekta Kapoor. The accused identified as Sudhir Rajender Singh hails from Haryana and he has been accused of stalking the renowned producer for more than 30 times in the last few months. He wanted to befriend Kapoor to allegedly get a job.

Singh is a driver with a private cab service and he was trying to meet Kapoor for over a month but did not succeed. After failed attempts he then kept following her and once when Kapoor had gone to a temple in Juhu, the accused followed her there and tried to approach her but was caught by her personal guards. He was let off with a warning.
