Nigerian national caught with 70 g of cocaine

The Narcotics Cell of Customs Preventive Unit has arrested a 32-year-old Nigerian national after finding 70 g of cocaine in his possession. The cocaine is estimated to be worth around Rs 3,50,000 in the international market.
The accused has been identified as Rotimy Aziz alias Jojo (32), a resident of Sunshine Hills society in Undri. He has been arrested under relevant sections of the NDPS Act 1985 and was later remanded in police custody till February 7 by a local court.
Inspector of Customs Satish Kulkarni told the court that Jojo was apprehended near Silverwoods Apartment in Koregaon Park on Tuesday night at around 11.30 pm. When a body search was carried out, 70 grams of cocaine was recovered from his
possession.
