Minor stabbed to death in Delhi’s Burari; two juveniles held

A 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in broad daylight in Delhi’s Burari area, police said on Saturday.

Two juveniles were arrested near Dhaula Kuan on Thursday, and a dagger used in the attack was recovered from them.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Aditya Gautam said, “During interrogation, one of the juveniles revealed that the victim, who lived in the same locality, had previously threatened to kill him. This led both minors to stab the boy.”

The attack occurred around 2.30 pm, when the victim was stabbed multiple times following a personal dispute. He died in hospital during treatment. A case was registered at Burari Police Station.

Police intercepted the juveniles near Dhaula Kuan based on intelligence. Both confessed to the murder during questioning.
