FIR registered against suspended Mumbai civic body health officer in fake birth certificate scam: BJP leader

Deonar Police registered the first information report (FIR) late on Friday evening following complaints by the former BJP Member of Parliament (MP) and a BMC Assistant Commissioner

The Mumbai Police have registered a case against officials of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) M-East Ward for allegedly issuing nearly 200 fraudulent birth certificates to ineligible persons in the Govandi–Deonar area, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya wrote in a tweet on X.
