Mumbai Police nabs wanted burglar on bike without number plate held, cash and gold worth over Rs 50 lakh recovered

According to the police, on February 9, a nakabandi was being carried out at Jijamata Nagar in Worli by the police when a man on a 'suspicious' bike- having no number plate was stopped. He was found to be without a helmet. When he was asked to stop, he allegedly attempted to flee from the spot. However, a team of police officials nabbed him

A bike without a number plate that was stopped during a police nakabandi in Worli, Mumbai led to the arrest of a wanted burglar against whom multiple cases were registered in Maharashtra and Gujarat, the police said on Saturday. 

According to the police, on February 9, a nakabandi was being carried out at Jijamata Nagar in Worli by the police when a man on a 'suspicious' bike that had no number plate, was stopped. He was not even wearing a helmet. When he was asked to stop, he allegedly attempted to flee from the spot. However, a team of police officials nabbed him.
