According to police, the complainant had sought divorce from Nanda Kumar after she came to know about his first marriage. However, when she sought divorce on mutual understanding, the accused started abusing her and threatened her of posting her obscene pictures on internet. As the victim left him and went to United States, Nanda Kumar bore a grudge against her and her parents, created certain fictitious email IDs resembling the victim&#39;s name and transmitted them with the photographs of the victim to damage the character and reputation of the complainant and her family members, the CID official said. The case was analysed technically and based on email headers, the involvement of Nanda Kumar was identified and he was arrested, Krishna Prasad said. Nanda Kumar confessed to marrying the victim through an online matrimonial site by hiding his earlier marriage from which he has a son, he said. The officer said that Nand Kumar extracted money from the victim and her parents under various pretexts. Police seized a mobile phone, hard disk of Nand Kumar&#39;s computer and also retrieved the alleged email communication from his email IDs.
