The animals included baby Anacondas, lizards, tortoises, turtles, iguanas, and raccoons, all stuffed inside plastic containers
Wildlife rescue experts from Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) were called in to safely handle, provide medical support, and stabilise the animals
These animals are protected under international and national laws, including CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) and the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, officials said
The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) has said that the animals will be deported back to their countries of origin according to legal provisions, officials said
The woman has been booked under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and further investigations were underway, they said
