The accused have been identified as Sunil Patil aka Sunny, Narendra Patil, Sagar Sawant, and Austosh Gavand. All the accused have been granted police custody up to January 5

"Around 15:15 hrs in Chunabhatti area there was an incident of firing in which a person named Sumit Yerunkar got killed and some others were injured in the incident. All the injured persons are stable and currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. Accused in the matter have been identified and as many as nine different teams have been formed to investigate the case. The teams are also searching for the accused persons involved in the crime. The reason of firing is suspected to be personal rivalry," an official had said on Sunday
