Four youngsters were rescued from drowning at Kashid Beach near Murud Janjira in Raigad district last evening and a missing person complaint was registered for the fifth boy Mayank Bharat Singh (18), who is a resident of Parsik Hill, Belapur.

According to the police, the incident happened around 4 pm, but the search operation for Singh went on till late night.

All the boys were from Mumbai and Devesh Rajkumar Jha (18) the complainant is a resident of Nerul.
