Five people were killed and five others were grievously injured after a trailer rammed into four vehicles on Mumbai-Pune express highway near Khalapur toll plaza late on Monday night.

The incident occurred around 12.45 am when the driver of a trailer lost control over the vehicle and rammed into five vehicles.
