It seems that the rights of Mumbai’s pedestrians are decreasing every day. Whether encroached by hawkers, huts or parked vehicles, the footpaths usually end up as the last place for pedestrians to walk on.

On April 17, mid-day had reported a case of second hand car dealers, who had taken over a lane below JJ flyover, parking their vehicles and inconveniencing motorists and pedestrians.
