Artist Chintan Upadhyay, who is in judicial custody in connection with the Hema Upadhyay-Harish Bhambhani murder case, will have to wait to a few more days again for bail. On Thursday, the judge of Dinodoshi sessions court adjourned the hearing and gave a next date for the hearing of Chintan's bail plea. Now, the defense lawyers and public prosecutor will argue on the bail application of Chintan on February 25.

While the defense lawyers, who are representing Chintan during the arguments in favour of asking bail for Chintan, said the police has not submitted the police diary in the court and the diary should be submitted. Defense lawyer also raised a question saying, from December 13 to December 21, he was kept with crime branch, after which police arrested him. But, he had received a clean chit from CBI earlier, so what is the relevance of arrest? Defence lawyers also added that the cause of death has not been submitted, so court should release him on bail.
