MMRDA invites tenders for highway projects

<p>The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited tenders to widen and strengthen the National Highway-4 and State Highway-40 </p>
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited tenders to widen and strengthen the National Highway-4 and State Highway-40 at various key spots such as Sheel Phata, Palaspe Phata, Takka Colony, Kalamboli Junction and Khanda Colony. A 4-lane flyover will also be constructed on SH-40 at L&T Junction under the project.
"We have invited tenders for widening and strengthening of NH-4 in two phases. The first phase is between Takka Colony and Palaspe Phata; while the second phase is between Kalamboli Junction and Khanda Colony. MMRDA will spend Rs.54 crore for the 3.6 km long 6-lane road," said MMRDA Joint Project Director (PR) Dilip Kawatkar.
