According to an official, Fadnavis gave the instructions while speaking at a meeting of Maritime Board in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
The meeting discussed development of various ports and related topics like road development, rail connectivity, infrastructure, land policy, policy issues, corporate social responsibility, cargo and passenger services.
The chief minister has instructed to speed up the developmental activities and infrastructure building in the port area, the official said.
