Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra&nbsp;Fadnavis has directed officials to ensure that boats of&nbsp;fishermen are equipped with digital devices for monitoring of&nbsp;movement.
According to an official, Fadnavis gave the instructions&nbsp;while speaking at a meeting of Maritime Board in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
The meeting discussed development of various ports and&nbsp;related topics like road development, rail connectivity,&nbsp;infrastructure, land policy, policy issues, corporate social&nbsp;responsibility, cargo and passenger services.
The chief minister has instructed to speed up the&nbsp;developmental activities and infrastructure building in the&nbsp;port area, the official said.
