After the announcement that Lower Parel will be developed on priority basis under the Centre's 'Smart City' programme, details are now emerging of many more goodies for Mumbaikars who work or live in this area.

A Station Area Traffic Improvement Scheme (SATIS) is being proposed on all the five railway stations within one-kilometer radius of Lower Parel such as Mahalaxmi, Parel, Elphinstone, Curry Road.
