Alleged Maoist bomber arrested from Mulund

In a joint operation straight out of a crime thriller, the Mumbai crime branch along with the Jharkhand police on Friday arrested a wanted Maoist activist from a construction site in Mulund where he was working as a carpenter. The man, Pintu Jawar Paswan, 23, is one of the main accused in the killing of 10 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans in Gumla district of Jharkhand, said the police.
Paswan, a resident of Gaya in Bihar had also placed a bomb in a school in Satvini village, in Jharkhand back in 2008 suspecting to kill a group of cops who were camping in the school. Luckily the blast did not cause any casualties.
