To mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Maharashtra Tourism Department will organise a two-day “Ambedkar Tour Circuit” across Mumbai, Nashik, and Nagpur on April 13 and 14, 2026. The initiative will be open to tourists, citizens, students, and followers, with participation offered free of cost on a first-come, first-served basis.

The programme is aimed at creating wider awareness about Ambedkar’s life, work, and ideology, particularly among younger generations, while also promoting heritage tourism linked to sites associated with his legacy.
