Mumbai voters will reject BJP’s religious politics, says Congress leader Varsha Gaikwad

Mumbai Congress president Varsha Gaikwad on Saturday said that voters in the metropolis would reject the BJP’s 'religious politics and double standards' in the upcoming municipal elections, choosing instead to focus on pressing civic concerns, reported the PTI.

Polling for 29 municipal corporations across Maharashtra, including the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), is scheduled for 15 January, with counting to take place the following day.
