Malabar Hill resident and formeru00a0constable Keshav Bhosle, who shot at his sons yesterday, killing one and injuring the other, will be presented in court only after he recovers from the hand injury he sustained during the fight that ended in the shooting.
The incident took place at a family get-together last afternoon. While Ganesh (34), his elder son was killed, younger son Rajesh (28) is in critical condition. Ganesh and Rajesh are Bhosle's sons from his first wife.

Keshav, who is now married to another women, had organsied a get-together at his residence and invited Ganesh and Rajesh too. The fight reportedly started with the two sons asking their stepmother for photos of their mother. They were told that the pictures were lost. The ensuing argument escalated into a fight over property. Keshav then removed his sword and revolver and tried to kill both his sons.
Iqbal Shaikh senior inspector of Malabar Hill police station said, "Ganesh died in the fight and Rajesh was badly injured. They were rushed in Elizabeth hospital at Walkeshwar. Keshav, who sustained injuries to his right hand, has been kept at Bhatia Hospital. He will be presented in a court only after he recovers from his injuries."
