Criminals hack SBI ATM, use info to draw Rs 5 lakh

The cyber crime deployed the use of a skimming device to steal vital account data; the information was used to clone debit cards by the hackers and steal from accounts

A State Bank of India ATM was hacked at Borivli and cyber criminals withdrew money from the teller machines at Lalbaug, Marine Drive and Andheri on August 3, with the total cash withdrawn amounting to Rs 5 lakh.
