Dubey adds, &ldquo;The tiger dominates the forest. It is top of the food chain and controls the ecology of the forest too. I have seen Machli, I think in 2001. I recall she spotted a small sambar, she made up her mind to go after it and suddenly the sambar took flight. Machli chased it.
&ldquo;I knew there was something different. Machli had a magnetic personality and electrifying allure,&rdquo; finishes Dubey, currently on the advisory committee on the conservation of the Asiatic Lion.
