Expanding its daycare services, the P D Hinduja hospital will today officially open its new short stay wing to the public. The wing consists of 19 rooms where patients requiring any of the listed 120 short surgical services, from cataracts to hernia, will be able to check in from 8 am and leave by 10 pm.

However, takers for the new facility have been few even though hospital authorities have been advocating it to patients.
