A Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight was delayed by over four hours at Jabalpur's Dumna Airport on Monday after one of its tyres went flat while parked on the apron, an airport official said, reported the PTI.
The flight had landed from Mumbai around noon, and the tyre deflated after all passengers had safely disembarked.
The incident occurred after flight 6E 792 landed at Jabalpur and all passengers had safely disembarked. It was only after the aircraft was stationary that a deflated tyre was noticed, sources told the ANI.
The aircraft was scheduled to take off for Mumbai again at 12:40 pm but could not depart due to the flat rear tyre.

The IndiGo aircraft was to return to Mumbai at 12.40 pm, but it couldn't due to the tyre problem, he added.
The delayed flight with some passengers onboard returned to Mumbai at 5.30 pm after the rear tyre was replaced, the director said.
IndiGo was yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, in an another incident, a Kolkata-bound Air India Express plane returned to Bengaluru due to a technical issue on Sunday evening, reported the PTI.
The flight IX2718, operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft, returned after being airborne for over two hours, according to information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, as per the PTI.
"One of our flights from Bengaluru returned to the airport following a technical issue. The aircraft circled to reduce fuel and weight before executing a safe, precautionary landing," an Air India Express spokesperson said in a statement on Monday, according to the PTI.
An alternate aircraft was arranged to ferry the passengers to Kolkata.
The airline is investigating the technical snag in the aircraft.
Details about the number of passengers onboard the flight were not disclosed.
