Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who holds finance and planning departments, presented an interim budget for 2024-25 on Tuesday. "We are presenting an interim budget for four months of 2024-25. The remaining budget will be presented after Lok Sabha polls in the next session of the assembly," he said.

Ajit Pawar, while presenting the interim budget, said that the government will be implementing welfare schemes for four major constituents--Youth, Women, Poor and Farmers.
