Maharashtra: State-wide bandh on October 11 over farmers’ deaths

In solidarity with the agitating farmers, the Maharashtra Cabinet passed a resolution expressing regret on the death of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday.
Later, the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi’s (MVA) three parties, the Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress gave a call for a statewide bandh on Monday, October 11.
