The bus hit a traffic signal post near Chembur

A BEST bus driver on bus route number 381 suffered from a heart attack while driving, leading to losing control over the vehicle, dashing it against a signal post and a vegetable vendor near Chembur. There were no injuries reported to any passengers inside the bus.

The bus (MH01-LA6169) plies on the Ghatkopar to Tata Power House Chembur and the incident occurred at the Basant Park signal with the unwell driver Haridas Patil immediately moved to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. He regained consciousness at the hospital and is now recuperating.
