In a heartwarming incident, M.A. Siddique, Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector (Dy CTI) of Mumbai Division, displayed exceptional kindness and compassion when he encountered a distressed 9-year-old boy at Dadar station. The boy, named Tanvir, was crying and searching for his family.

In a heartwarming incident, M.A. Siddique, Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector (Dy CTI) of Western Railway's Mumbai Division, displayed exceptional kindness and compassion when he encountered a distressed 9-year-old boy at Dadar station. The boy, named Tanvir, was crying and searching for his family.

Approaching the boy, Siddique calmly inquired about his family and learned that Tanvir was lost and desperately seeking his loved ones. Determined to help, Siddique assured the young boy that he would reunite him with his family.


Tanvir was taken to the Head Ticket Checker's office at Dadar, where announcements were made over the public announcement system in hopes of locating his family. Unfortunately, no one came forward to claim the lost child.



However, during this time, it was discovered that Tanvir's family members were frantically searching for him on the platforms of Central Railway's Dadar station. Swiftly, the family was contacted and asked to come to Dadar on Western Railway.

Following thorough verification to ensure the boy's safety, Tanvir was joyfully reunited with his family.

Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, praised the Ticket Checking staff of Mumbai Division for their exceptional efficiency, honesty, and humane service.

He said that the Ticket Checking staff of Western Railway’s Mumbai Division performs their ticket checking activities with utmost efficiency and honesty and also serve passengers humanely with noble gestures by providing assistance to passengers by arranging for instant medical help, helping passengers recover their lost valuable items during travel and assist in finding missing children.
