City runners are sweating copious buckets as the mercury climbs mercilessly. Contrast this with a picture of runners at the Everest, which hosted a marathon recently. The runners are competing in icy temperatures and we guess, thin air, as the world&rsquo;s highest marathon was held in the foothills of Mount Everest in Nepal&rsquo;s Solukhumbu district.
The 42-km Tenzing-Hillary Everest Marathon is usually held in May to mark the anniversary of the first conquest of Everest by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary but was postponed because of the Nepal earthquake. We can hear Mumbai say, &lsquo;Iceis nice.&rsquo;

Sen Sharma, along with Tilottama Shome and Gulshan Deviah will appear in a 20-minute film, Nayantara&rsquo;s Necklace, the story of an unusual exchange between two women.
Directed by Jaydeep Sarkar of Khoya Khoya Chand fame and presented by Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films (earlier presented the Ahalya) by Sujoy Ghosh it will release on digital platforms later this month.
Suppandi&rsquo;s online avatar Tinkle&rsquo;s popular characters, Shikari Shambu and Suppandi have entertained generations of readers. While browsing the web recently, we were delighted to hear their voices too, thanks to Suppandi &amp; Friends, a YouTube channel. This channel offers short stories featuring Suppandi, Shikari Shambu and Defective Detectives.

We received a mail from a leading online furniture brand, which was being promoted by stand-up comics from All India Bakchod (AIB). The tagline read, &lsquo;The good folks at AIB think our designs are wicked just like their humour so we decided to furnish their office with some of our pieces.&rsquo;
The campaign includes a funny video of the brand&rsquo;s furniture being off-loaded at the AIB office, as group members have a blast picking their favourite pieces of furniture, including a roast chair! The campaign gets credit for AIB&rsquo;s next big idea, attributing it to their newly furnished space.
