Around 7.30 pm when the car was near Santoshi Mata Mandir in front of the Bhojmal building a man came near the car and snatched the mangalsutra from the neck of the Income Tax official's wife

Chembur cops have booked unknown people for stealing mangalsutra from an Income Tax official's wife when her car was waiting at the traffic signal.

A 57-year-old Income Tax official having a rank of Additional Commissioner in Chennai arrived on December 28 morning with his wife to visit his mother-in-law at Trombay along with his wife. On December 28 morning, the couple arrived at Terminal 2 of Mumbai airport and went to a government guest house.
