An unexpected incident led to services on the 11.07 km Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro rail line One were temporarily affected.

Mumbai Metro services


A Metro commuter inadvertently activated the Manual Call Point (MCP) switch at the Ghatkopar metro station.

The services were restored in a few minutes.

MMOPL Spokesperson confirmed the incident saying, “A commuter inadvertently pulled the Manual Call Point (MCP) switch at the Ghatkopar metro station at 12.16 pm today and the station went into automatic emergency mode. After his mistake was found out, normal services were restored in less than five minutes."
