Mumbai: No. of Covid-19 deaths in city jumps from 0 to 4 in 24 hours

All of the four patients whose deaths due to COVID-19 were confirmed on Monday had comorbidities. While one patient was aged between 40 and 59 years, the other three were senior citizens

After zero deaths on Sunday, Mumbai saw a rise in the daily toll to four 24 hours later. According to the BMC’s report, the city registered 373 new cases on Monday, a marginal rise from 367 on Sunday. The state, however, registered a significant drop in daily cases to 1,485 from 1,715 the day before. 

The test positivity rate (TPR), however, dipped to 1.23 per cent from 1.27 per cent.
