The Mumbai Police have imposed temporary no-parking restrictions on key stretches near the Armed Police Headquarters at Marol in Andheri East due to the ongoing police recruitment field tests.
According to a notification issued by the office of the deputy commissioner of police (eastern suburbs), traffic, the restrictions have been enforced in view of heavy vehicle congestion outside the Armed Police Marol headquarters during the 2024–2025 recruitment process for Mumbai Police Constable and Police Constable (Band), including prison police posts.
Authorities said candidates and their relatives have been parking vehicles in large numbers along the adjoining roads, causing inconvenience and obstruction to movement. Residents of the area have also been affected due to excessive roadside parking.
